About Our Story ~ Established in 2013

Welcome to Sunny California Soap Company. We are a family owned; family run business established in 2013.

Soap making is in our blood. My grandmother was a soap maker, and my mother was also a soap maker. It was only natural to follow in their footsteps and make soap for my own family, but “selling” soap …. that was for nerds and hippies … NOT cool people like me. On a whim I began vending soap at a local farmers market, and BOOM! Sunny California Soap Company was born.

What started as a small, fun idea for a summer, blossomed quickly into a full-fledged business. It was awesome and a little bit scary, but “good” scary.

We listened to our customers and added more scents and blends to please the crowd. We added all sorts of bath and body products. Some were hits, others were duds.

Your skin is important. It loves to be clean and fresh. It doesn’t like to feel stripped and damaged. Scents can uplift your soul and instantly transport you to a positive place. Our soaps are thoughtfully made and beautifully scented. You’re going to love the way your skin feels!

All our products are 100% handmade from scratch. Every single ingredient is chosen for the quality it brings to the table. Our products are always sustainable, eco-friendly and cruelty free. Our ingredients are locally sourced and organic whenever possible.
